Meet Dr. Stevens

Dr. Grant Stevens is a board-certified plastic surgeon and medical director of Marina Plastic Surgery in Marina Del Rey and Beverly Hills. He specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery and has been named one of America's best physicians in The Guide to Top Doctors. Dr. Stevens has been featured in a range of publications, including USA Today, Glamour, People, The Wall Street Journal, Allure, Beauty and Forbes. He has also appeared on CNN, Discovery, MSNBC, The Learning Channel, CBS News, Entertainment Tonight, 60 Minutes, 20/20, Nightline and Inside Edition.

EXEMPLARY CREDENTIALS

Dr. Stevens is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons. He was appointed by the governor to the medical board of the California Medical Quality Review Board, and he is on the plastic surgery faculties of UCLA and USC, where he is a clinical professor of plastic surgery and director of the Marina-USC Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Stevens has been a visiting professor at Loma Linda University, University of Switzerland, University of Denmark, Louisiana State University, Tulane, University of Texas and Washington University.

Dr. Stevens is a member of many medical societies including The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is a past chairman of the California Medical Association advisory panel on plastic surgery. Dr. Stevens has received certificates of recognition from the California State Assembly and California State Senate, as well as the Special Congressional Certificate of Recognition and the Distinguished Service Citation from the Medical Board of California.

Meet Dr. Spring

Dr. Michelle Spring specializes in cosmetic surgery at Marina Plastic Surgery and is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. She trained with Dr. Stevens during a fellowship with The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and completed an integrated plastic surgery residency at University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is a published author and researcher who has lectured and presented research internationally. Dr. Spring combines her surgical expertise with a warm demeanor and a dedication to exceptional patient care.

A PASSION FOR PEOPLE

Before joining Marina Plastic Surgery, Dr. Spring traveled around the world as an Interplast Webster Fellow, providing reconstructive plastic surgery to children and adults in developing countries. Since that time, she has continued her humanitarian efforts through the Eduplast Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to training plastic and reconstructive surgeons in Nicaragua and Ecuador. Dr. Spring's eagerness to help others is also evident in her personal life. She has served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Salvation Army.

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Dr. Spring received her medical degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating with distinction as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Following a 5-year integrated plastic surgery residency, she came to Marina Del Rey for a fellowship with Dr. Stevens. She then returned to University of Wisconsin, where she was a clinical instructor, training residents in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery.

Dr. Spring is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the California Medical Association. She is a candidate member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. As a woman and mother, Dr. Spring has special interest in body contouring procedures, such as liposuction and Cellulaze™, that restore the body, breasts and abdomen after pregnancy. She enjoys working closely with her patients and developing personalized solutions to meet each individual's aesthetic goals.
